I guess I didn’t realize how much I liked to be organized until I had kids and really there was no organization. None. Zero. Zilch. And my life just basically went crazy.
I remember when I was working at my before kids job, I often made procedures to follow so things would be done all the same by everyone. Why wouldn't that work in the home too? I thought. Well, it does!
So as my kids are getting older, there is time to put order back into place. Still have young kids at home - no worries! I have some techniques to help you stay sane too!

And being organized is really a time saver too. Just knowing you don’t have to think about a process or keep reminding yourself to complete a task will really free up your brain for other tasks. Like how many times are you going to think about that email you need to respond to? Instead just respond and move on. Totally speaking from experience!
So being organized isn’t necessarily being Type A or obsessive - I really think it is about using your time productively. And the more time you have free, the more time you have to do the things you love. Yeah!
